Obama weighs in on 'fearless' Sanders and 'wicked smart' Clinton
The Monmouth University Poll surveyed 504 Iowa voters likely to
attend the Democratic presidential caucuses via telephone between
January 23-26 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage
points. The appearance of Sen.Bernie Sanders is in "overall very good health", according to a letter from his doctor released by the Democratic presidential candidates' campaign Thursday.

The senator met with the president Wednesday at the White House and returned to Iowa in the evening to ponder if he has the stomach to directly attack Clinton for the win or maintain his well-earned reputation for eschewing negative campaigning.
In an interview with CNN's Carol Costello on Thursday, the Academy award-winning actress hailed Sanders' commitment to tackling income inequality and taking on Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump. He has come under growing pressure to release his health records, including from Hillary Clinton, who has noted that she released a summary of her health records previous year.
To counteract that problem, Sanders' campaign is urging college students - who are able to caucus in their hometowns or where their college is located - to go home to caucus.
The comment is Clinton, in effect, challenging Sanders to debate between the Iowa caucuses on February 1 and the New Hampshire primary on February 9.
"Senator Sanders is happy to have more debates, but we are not going to schedule them on an ad hoc basis at the whim of the Clinton campaign", Sanders' campaign manager, Jeff Weaver, said in a statement.
"We've got some work to do and I want to do it by getting the wealthy to pay their fair share for the benefits they have enjoyed by being Americans", Clinton told several hundred voters gathered at a middle school in Newton, Iowa.
Still, Sanders expressed confidence in his chances.
